Getting here
Getting to Venice is easy.
Venice is connected to the mainland (Venezia Mestre) by the Ponte della Libertà, a 4km-long bridge used by cars and trains. The bridge leads to the Stazione Marittima ferry terminal, the Tronchetto and Piazzale Roma car parks and, by train, to the railway station. Vehicles cannot enter Venice beyond these terminals, so visitors arriving by car must park and those arriving by train must get off at Venezia Santa Lucia station.
Connections by plane are possibile via MARCO POLO AIRPORT or TREVISO AIRPORT.
If you choose to arrive by train, the connection is S.LUCIA TRAIN STATION.
The parking options by car or arrival by bus or ship can be consulted at this link.
